Explosions continue at Popocatepetl Volcano in Mexico. Mexico’s National Center for Disaster Prevention recorded 12 eruptions in the past day. Following the eruptions, ashfall occurred in the city of Atlixco, located just southeast of the volcano. The volcano has erupted 113 times during 2022 and has erupted 308 times so far this year.

Bank employee shoots 5 coworkers to death in US

An armed employee of the Old National bank in the city of Louisville, Kentucky, USA opened fire at his workplace and shot five coworkers to death. Nine were injured during the incident as well. The Louisville Metro Police stated that the attacker was neutralized.
