Despite the chaos at Kabul Airport in Afghanistan 121 Afghan refugees, including 11 children, reached Albania for temporary shelter. Authorities stated that the Afghans were welcomed in tents located in the military area and underwent identity and health checks. Albania will accept 4,000 Afghan refugees.
