Hurricane Grace, which formed in the Atlantic Ocean, hit Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula after Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. In the state of Quintana Roo, many hotels in the area were evacuated. Authorities ordered the closure of all workplaces and declared a curfew. The hurricane affected the supply of electricity, internet, telephone and drinking water.

An A400M type transport aircraft owned by the Turkish Armed Forces took off from Kabul Airport with more than 200 Turkish citizens aboard. The aircraft will land in Pakistan and the evacuated passengers will be brought from Pakistan to Turkey by Turkish Airlines scheduled flight.
