Food Market Fire Kills 8, Injures 15 in China

A fire broke out at a food market in the Qiaoxi district of Zhangjiakou city in northern China’s Hebei province at around 08:40 local time for unknown reasons. Authorities announced that 8 people lost their lives and 15 people were injured. The flames, which spread quickly, were extinguished after 1.5 hours of work.
