An unknown type of shell hit a border checkpoint in Russia

Clashes between Kiev soldiers and separatist militias in Ukraine’s Donbass Region continue to increase in intensity The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB RF) said, “On February 21 this year, at 9:50 AM, a shell of an unidentified type fired from the territory of Ukraine completely destroyed the place of duty of the border guards of the FSB of Russia in the Rostov region, located at a distance of about 150 meters from the Russian-Ukrainian border.”

While it reporting that there is no casualties due to the falling shell, FSB RF told that the most affected area was the Shcherbakovo village of Neklinovsky district of Rostov city.

On the other hand, the Ukrainian military denied bombing a border facility used by the FSB RF, and described the bombing as “fake news”. “We couldn’t stop them producing this fake news, but we always emphasise that we do not shoot at civilian infrastructure, or into some territory in the Rostov region or whatever,” Ukrainian Military Spokesperson Pavlo Kovalchuk said. Also, the Investigative Committee of Russia (SKR) launched an investigation after the incident.
