Ancient Mammoth Remains Found in Kyrgyzstan

Remains of a mammoth, dating back 4,000 years, were discovered in a quarry in Kyrgyzstan’s Issyk-Kul region. The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth Policy reported finding tooth and jaw fragments buried in sand and gravel deposits. Archaeologists carefully extracted part of the lower skull, which was then sent to a museum for preservation.
