Ancient theatre excavation reveals Apollo statue in Turkey

Excavators have found an Apollo statue and many more in Prusias ad Hypium Ancient City in Konuralp, Düzce. The Apollo statue has been moved to Istanbul Archeology Museum to be conditioned. The statue is 190cm in length and 60cm in width.

Mayor of Düzce, Dr Faruk Özlü said “Düzce is a historical city… We are revealing a great civilization in Konuralp ancient city. We will continue the excavation works.”
