ancient tomb dates back to ming dynasty era unearthed in northern china

An ancient tomb dating back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) has been discovered at a construction site in Qiuxian County, Hebei Province, north China. The octagonal-shaped tomb was discovered earlier this month, according to the local cultural relic protection department. It is in good shape, with delicate brick carvings. At the bottom, two coffins stay side by side, each with a human skeleton inside. Four well-preserved white glaze plates and a blue and white porcelain bowl from the mid-Ming Dynasty were also discovered. The discovery is beneficial to the area’s burial study, specialists said.
