Antalya Excavation Uncovers 3,500-Year-Old Roman Street

 

Archaeologists in Antalya have made a significant discovery during excavations near the Hıdırlık Tower. They uncovered a 3,500-year-old Roman-era columned street stretching over 800 meters, with 100 meters already excavated. This find, described as one of Kaleiçi’s important discoveries, extends to Üçkapılar and connects to the sea. The ongoing project aims to transform the area into a cultural and tourist hub, highlighting Antalya’s rich heritage. The excavation continues, revealing more about the ancient history of the region.
