Anti-coup protesters took to the streets again in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan. Thousands of people opposed to the military government marched to the Presidential Palace in the capital, Khartoum. Security forces responded with tear gas to the demonstrators shouting slogans. Local sources suggested that demonstrations were also held in the cities of Port Sudan, Kassala, Nyala and Atbara.
