Anti-Turkish Protests Continue in Montenegro for Third Night

Tensions in Montenegro’s capital, Podgorica, have entered a third night as hundreds of nationalists gathered outside the government building chanting anti-Turkish slogans. The unrest began after a stabbing incident involving Turkish citizens last weekend.

Police detained 11 masked individuals, including nine minors, and warned parents to prevent their children from being drawn into violence. Turkish-owned businesses in Podgorica and the coastal city of Bar have closed after attacks and arson.

Following the incidents, Montenegro announced that Turkish citizens with ordinary passports will now require visas to enter the country starting October 30.
