Hundreds of people gathered in Greek capital city of Athens under the leadership of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), organized a protest against the US-Greece Mutual Defense Cooperation Agreement and war. Being opposed the extension of the NATO bases in the country with the agreement, the protesters were chanted slogans such as “No land and no water for the murderers of the people”, “Get out of NATO”, “Close the bases” and “Do not interfere in the interventions”.
