Two masked assailants opened fire in the churchyard of the Santa Maria Italian Church in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul province during the Sunday service. One person who was shot at the scene died in the hospital. The attackers fled the scene on foot. Police are looking for the assailants while an investigation was started at the crime scene.
