Six people were killed and 7 injured as a result of an armed attack, carried out by a group, on a birthday party celebrated in a parking lot in Monterrey, the capital of the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon. Three of the casualties were reported to be in serious condition. The attackers left the area via 3 separate vehicles.
The Nuevo Leon State Attorney General’s Office reported that an investigation into the incident is underway, and that necessary action will be taken to catch the perpetrators.
