It was recorded that at least 8 people were killed and 10 people were injured in the incident that took place in an armed attack at a synagogue in the Neve Yaakov Neighborhood, east of Jerusalem. The police reported that the suspect, who came to the scene with his vehicle and opened fire, was neutralized.
The attack came hours after Palestinian militants from the Gaza Strip fired rockets into Israel in retaliation for the Israeli troops’ attacks that killed 9 Palestinians. No casualties were recorded in the attack.
