Armenia’s Pashinyan Rejects Netanyahu’s Genocide Claim

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan dismissed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s claim that Israel’s parliament recognized the so-called Armenian genocide. Pashinyan said the issue should not be used as a “geopolitical bargaining chip” by foreign powers, stressing Armenia must focus on its own state and people’s interests.

Netanyahu made the remark during an interview with an Armenian-American journalist, saying, “There you go, I just recognized it,” after incorrectly stating that the Israeli parliament had passed such a resolution.
