Former Pakistan Prime Minister and Pakistani Justice Movement Party (PTI) leader Imran Khan, who was issued with arrest warrant on March 13 for not attending the two hearings of the cases opened for the charges of selling state gifts and concealing assets while in office, headed to Islamabad for another hearing he accepted to attend. As a result of the hearing, the court judge Zafer Iqbal canceled the arrest warrant for Khan and postponed the hearing to March 30.
Due to the clashes that broke out between PTI supporters and police following his appearance at the court, Khan attended the hearing from his car outside the court by the courtesy of Judge Iqbal.
