Artist Turns Dusty Car Windows Into Art in Antalya, Türkiye

Alper Kocabıyık, a hearing-impaired painter living in Aksu district of Antalya, southwestern Türkiye, transforms dusty car windows into detailed artworks. A Fine Arts High School graduate who has been painting since the age of four, he uses cotton swabs and tissues as brushes to create mostly Istanbul landscapes.

Kocabıyık often depicts the city’s skyline and Bosphorus views, drawing attention from passersby. His mother said he “can’t resist” dusty cars and paints on several vehicles a day, adding that most drivers appreciate the unexpected artwork.
