At least 1 killed in fire at FSB building in Russia

A fire broke out in a building used by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) border guard unit in the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don. The sky was filled with dense smoke as the flames spread quickly.

Vassily Golubev, Governor of Rostov Oblast, stated that the fire started as a result of a short circuit and spread over 800 square meters, while fuel and mineral oil containers exploded and two walls collapsed. According to Russian media, one person was killed in the fire. As a result of their long efforts, 63 firefighters and 14 trucks were able to keep the fire under control.
