An armed attack on a school in Izhevsk, the capital of Russia’s Udmurtia Republic, killed 13 people. Teachers and school personnel are among those killed, according to Russian officials. After a brief clash with the attacker, the police officers found the gunman’s body. The attacker committed suicide, according to the preliminary determinations.
Ambulances transported the injured to hospitals.
