At Least 15 Killed in Bomb Attack at Pakistan Police HQ

At least 15 people were killed and more than 50 injured after a bomb targeted a mosque inside a police headquarters in northwestern Pakistan. The explosion struck the Kohat district compound during Friday prayers, collapsing an exterior wall and leaving a large crater outside. Describing the influx of casualties, Chief Medical Officer Tahir Ali Shah said “15 bodies and more than 50 injured, including police officers, were brought to the hospital.” Security forces have since locked down the shattered complex and deployed reinforcements to the area. Local authorities also closed the main Kohat-Hangu road as emergency crews clear debris and search for survivors.
