At least 4 people died in demonstrations in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan

According to the announcement of The UK-based Baluch Activists Campaign (BAC) on social media, at least 4 died and dozens were injured after the police intervention in the protests that started after the Friday prayers in Sistan and Baluchestan province. Thousands of demonstrators in the cities of Zahedan, Iranshahr, Chabahar, Zehk, and Saravan, were targeted by the security forces and that the police intervened by shooting directly at the demonstrators.

The footage shared from Zahedan shows the public carrying the injured demonstrators to a mosque and the demonstrators chanting “Baluchis and Kurds are brothers and are thirty for the leader’s blood “, referring to the Iranian religious leader Ali Khamenei.
