A remotely planted bomb exploded inside a cafe in the Syrian capital of Damascus, leaving at least five people dead and 16 others injured. The deadly blast occurred in a bustling area on Al-Nasr Street, located near the city’s Palace of Justice. Dr. Ahmed El-Bekkur, the Health Ministry’s Director of Ambulance and Emergency Management, officially confirmed the casualties as numerous emergency teams rushed to the site. An active investigation is currently underway as authorities work to uncover who planted the explosive device.
