At least 50 police officers wounded, 250 people arrested at May Day protest in Berlin

At least 50 police officers were injured and more than 250 people were arrested during the International Workers’ Day protest, on 1 May, in Berlin, Germany. About 30,000 protesters take to streets of Berlin and protest was peaceful during the day. But demonstrations turned violent in the evening. Protesters threw stones and bottles at officers. Police used water cannons and tear gas to disperse the crowd.
