At least 52 People Killed in Indonesia Flash Floods

 

Heavy rains in Indonesia’s West Sumatra province led to floods, landslides, and a cold lava flow from the Marapi Volcano. The disaster killed 52 people, with 17 people still missing. Rescue efforts are ongoing, and the area suffered significant damage to homes, agricultural land, and infrastructure. The National Disaster Prevention Agency evacuated 3,396 people and provided essential supplies to those affected.
