Atatürk Mansion under restoration

The most extensive restoration in its history began in September of this year for the Atatürk Mansion in Trabzon, known as the place where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stayed and wrote his will. While 344 works of ethnographic quality, consisting of furniture, porcelain, carpets and Atatürk’s paintings from the late 19th and 20th centuries, are exhibited in the museum, a project was prepared for the Atatürk Mansion by the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality.

The restoration is planned to be completed by the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic.
