An armed group attacked a police station in the city of Zahidan, the administrative center of the province of Sistan and Balochistan, located in the southeast of Iran, at 07:15 local time. The unidentified group of four threw hand grenades’ at the building, said the Deputy Governor of Sistan and Balochistan Province. It was also stated that a police officer was killed in the clash. Iranian Police Service Spokesperson Seyid Muntazer al-Mahdi stated that three attackers were also killed in the clash.
