One died and ten others have gone missing in flash floods caused by heavy rains in Australia. Body of a 63-year-old woman was found in her car in the flood that occurred in the states of Queensland and New South Wales. The search and rescue efforts for a 54-year-old man who had a motorcycle found abandoned in Barisbane continues. Search and rescue operations are underway for the missing people, police stated.
Bad weather is expected to continue in the country’s New South Wales and Queensland states for the rest of the week, and authorities continue to issue flood warnings in many areas.
