austria brings back lockdown for unvaccinated

Austria has imposed lockdown on people who are not fully vaccinated in the country. People who have caught Covid-19 or are over the age of 12 are exempt from the restrictions. People are allowed to leave their homes for reasons such as to carry out their profession or education, to meet their daily basic needs such as going to the market, pharmacy, bank, post office, to meet their religious needs. Those who do not comply with the rules in Austria will be detained and fined up to 1,450 euros, and businesses up to 3,600 euros. While the streets were empty in the capital Vienna after the application came into effect, citizens flocked to the vaccine centers to get the Covid-19 vaccine.
