Azerbaijan-Supported Housing Projec in Türkiye Nears Halfway Mark

Reconstruction efforts in the Azerbaijan Neighborhood, heavily damaged by the Kahramanmaraş earthquakes in Türkiye, have reached 45% completion. Supported by the Azerbaijani government, the project aims to provide modern and safe homes for earthquake survivors. The neighborhood will include 71 buildings with 784 units—456 residential and 328 commercial.

Governor Mükerrem Ünlüer highlighted progress, noting that a 24-classroom school is complete, while a cultural center funded by Azerbaijan is under construction. Residents, eager for stable housing, anticipate significant advancements by year-end. The project also focuses on completing infrastructure and creating a secure environment for families.
