Azerbaijan is sending aid equipment to Türkiye for those affected by the earthquake disaster that occurred in the Mediterranean region. A humanitarian aid convoy of 13 vehicles is carrying 260 tents, 300 beds, 2 generators, 8,000 pieces of clothing, 20,000 socks, 350 tables, 1,000 chairs, 5,000 towels, and other materials. The aid mission was set out by the Azerbaijan Ministry of Emergency Situations.
In addition, Turkish and Azerbaijani business people in Azerbaijan started an aid campaign to collect various items for the country in need. People in Azerbaijan donated items until late at night to support those affected by the disaster in Türkiye.
