Seven-year-old Azerbaijani boy, Allahverdi Rzalı who suffers marrow failure and needs 71 thousand US dollars for an operation sent 60 manats ($35) of the money collected for the treatment to earthquake victims in Türkiye.
“I came to help our brothers. I felt so bad when I saw it on TV. Our brothers in Türkiye were left outside. I helped so they could stay at home. They are also cold. Türkiye and Azerbaijan are friends, and they should help each other,” the mindful kid said. “I was proud that Allahverdi thought so at such a young age,” said Allahverdi’s father.
Meanwhile, a suitable donor was found in Türkiye for a bone marrow transplant for Allahverdi, who has had a hole in his heart since he was a baby and could not have heart surgery due to his illness.
