At the Central Asian and Azerbaijani Heads of State Summit in Astana, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the strong ties between Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries, particularly highlighting the support for the restoration of Karabakh, which was liberated from Armenian occupation.
President Aliyev underscored the shared cultural and religious values between the nations, noting that the support for Karabakh’s reconstruction is a testament to their brotherly relations. He also mentioned that during Armenia’s nearly 30-year occupation, numerous cities and settlements were destroyed, but large-scale rebuilding efforts are now underway, enabling displaced citizens to return to their homeland.
