Azerbaijani renovates Lachin after 28 years of Armenian occupation

Restoration and construction work continue uninterruptedly in Azerbaijan’s Lachin city, which was under Armenian occupation for 28 years. There were 2,020 private houses and 28 apartments in the city before the occupation, and more than 1,500 of these houses were destroyed during the Armenian occupation. The construction of new residences started in September last year in accordance with the general plan of the city, and most of the work is nearing completion. In addition to new public buildings, roads, and a mosque, the city will get new workplaces, which will help increase the employment rate.
