In the Aydos region of Cide district of Kastamonu, Turkey, a man named İrfan Özer found an injured roe deer wandering on the side of a road, having lost its mother. The baby roe deer was handed over to Gaffar Melih Dulkadir, who worked as a traffic police officer at the Cide District Police Department. The police officer, who received the injured roe deer, first had the roe deer examined. Then the traffic officer, who took the roe deer to the District Police Department, took care of the roe deer for a while and fed it. The baby roe deer, which was cared for and inspected, was handed over to Kastamonu Nature Conservation and National Parks Branch Office officials by the District Police Department.

Traffic Policeman Gaffar Melih Dulkadir said, “Today, a person named İrfan Özer came to our District Police Department and delivered the baby roe deer he found injured. We will call the National Park officials and hand them over to the teams. We are currently hosting him at our District Police Department, and we take good care of him. We feed them with food,” he said.
