A thief on his motorcycle in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, attempted to steal the money that a 26-year-old military school student named Juan Cruz was carrying in his backpack to deposit in a bank. Following the struggle between the two, the banknotes spilled on the pavement and the road where the incident took place. The citizens nearby immediately rushed to collect the money to help Juan Cruz, and the thief fled the scene.
Realizing that 70 thousand pesos ($335) was missing, Cruz went to the police and claimed that the money was stolen by some people who helped collecting the money on the street, and an investigation was launched into the incident by the Prosecutor’s Office.
