Bandits killed 34 people, including 2 soldiers, on Sunday in Nigeria’s northwest state of Kaduna, local sources said. In the attacks carried out in 4 different regions of the state, more than 200 houses and workplaces were set on fire, and 1 woman disappeared. The Kaduna state government has declared a 24-hour curfew due to the attacks. In another attack in Zamfara province, 16 people were killed.
Condemning the attack in Nigeria, Amnesty International has called on the government to find the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
