Nevşehir Palestine Support Platform hung banners on hot air balloons in the Cappadocia region to draw attention to the humanitarian crisis in Palestine. The banners reading “Ceasefire in Gaza”, “No to war” and “Open Rafah Border Gate” in both Turkish and English rose into the sky with the balloons.
“The world has been watching an unprecedented massacre since October 7. Approximately 29,000 of our brothers were martyred, 69,000 of our brothers were injured and thousands of others were under rubble. These balloons rise for a ceasefire to be established as soon as possible and the welfare border gate to be opened in Cappadocia, today,” Gaza Platform President Mustafa Gençtürk said.
