Baykar’s Bayraktar Kızılelma, Türkiye’s first unmanned combat aircraft, successfully completed its first firing test using ASELSAN’s TOLUN and ROKETSAN’s TEBER-82 munitions, striking targets with pinpoint precision. The tests were conducted at the AKINCI Flight Training and Test Center in Çorlu as part of the aircraft’s ongoing development program. Equipped with an afterburner engine and AESA radar, Kızılelma is designed for high-speed, high-maneuverability missions. Baykar announced that mass production is underway, with the aircraft expected to enter the Turkish Armed Forces’ inventory in 2026.
