Beehives turned into works of art in Turkey

An event was organized by Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Bee and Beekeeping Society in Turkey within the framework of the May 20 Bee Day activities. At the event, the statues placed in beehives were covered with wax by the bees. The art works were showcased at the exhibition. The exhibition was established at the Museum of Copy Sculpture Works at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, and opened by Şırnak University Fine Arts Faculty Painting Department Research Assistant Beyza Durhan. The art works in the exhibition consist of works created by bees creating a honeycomb on metal sculptures wrapped in cloth and left in the beehive.
