A double trailer truck crashed near Villahermosa, the capital of Mexico’s Tabasco state. People in the area who saw beer in his trailer looted the truck after the accident. Dozens of people were seen fighting for the beers around the truck. It was reported that security forces were unable to prevent looting because they arrived late after the accident. According to eyewitnesses, the truck was traveling at excessive speeds and thus overturned while attempting to slow down at the bump in front of it.
