Beijing’s Streets Covered in Mud After Severe Flooding

The floods occurred after Typhoon Doksuri brought heavy rains to China, bringing the Chinese capital, Beijing, to a standstill. As the floodwaters began to recede, the streets were covered in mud. Citizens and workers are now engaged in cleaning the streets and buildings.

Two people were found dead in a river the previous day. The city has experienced its heaviest rainfall of the year.
