Belarus has provided Zimbabwe with more agricultural machinery during the state visit of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to the Zimbabwean capital, Harare, on Tuesday. The leaders of both countries have signed eight Memorandums of Understanding that includes an agreement for supply of tractors, grain harvesters and other various equipment, that will be used in timber industry, to strengthen their alliance.
Thanks to the agricultural machinery that Belarus provided in 2019, Zimbabwe recorded a peak in the agriculture sector and maintained sufficiency in wheat production after importing grain for decades.
