US President Joe Biden held a press conference with President Emmanuel Macron in France, where he went for the 80th anniversary ceremonies of the Normandy Landing, at the Elysee Presidential Palace in the capital Paris. Touching on about the 9-month-long war in the Gaza strip, the two reiterated their proposal for a ceasefire and said that they would continue to work to stop the conflict in the region and the release of all prisoners.
Also touching upon the Ukraine-Russia war, the US President stated that they will stand firmly against Russia, and concluded his speech by saying, “We stand with France to support freedom and democracy around the world.”
