US President Joe Biden made a surprise visit to Kyiv, Ukraine, days before the first anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine War. Biden, who is expected to go to Poland on the itinerary, met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during his surprise visit to Kyiv.
Zelensky shared a photo with Biden on his social media account and said, “Joseph Biden, welcome to Kyiv! Your visit is an extremely important sign of support for all Ukrainians.”
