United States (US) President Joe Biden made statements about the developments regarding Israel and Ukraine in his Address to the Nation. During his speech, Biden stated that he will request an emergency budget from Congress tomorrow to support Israel and Ukraine in accordance with their national security interests. Noting that Israel’s military superiority will increase in this way, Biden says this will prevent the conflict from growing bigger. Meanwhile, new equipment will be provided to the Ukraine administration, which needs help to remove Russian forces from their country.
Supposing that the violent attack on Al-Ahli Hospital was not carried out by Israel, the American president criticized Hamas for using Palestinians as human shields and expressed his deep sadness about the explosion at the hospital in Gaza.
