Brazilian women took to streets to held a protest against the controversial bill proposed in the parliament to impose restriction on abortion in Cinelandia, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, yesterday. If the bill passes in the Brazilian congress, abortion will be considered as homicide if done after 22nd week of the pregnancy, even if its a result of a rape case.
The bill was proposed by Sóstenes Cavalcante, who has been a member of the conservative Liberal Party since 2022.
