bill to legitimize imprisoning LGBT persons approved in Uganda

The bill to legitimize imprisoning LGBT persons in Uganda was approved by the parliament in Uganda. With the enactment of the law, LGBT persons will be sentenced to life imprisonment. LGBT persons who abuse children and vulnerable people will be given the death penalty, and citizens will be expected to report LGBT individuals to legal authorities. On the other hand, non-governmental organizations defending LGBT rights in the country argue that the bill will cause fear and pressure on LGBT persons. It is also feared that with the enactment of the bill will lead gloating people to report people just to receive money.
