An explosion occurred in a facility that produces kokorec, a local food, in Turkey’s Balikesir province due to gas entrapment in LPG tanks. Eighteen employees were injured and hospitalized. Five of the injured were said to be in critical condition.
An investigation was initiated regarding the incident.
