Boat capsizes in Pakistan: 10 children loses their lives

A boat sailed for a student trip capsized in the Tanda Dam Lake in the Kohat region of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The search and rescue service spokesperson reported that at least 10 children lost their lives and that 4 of them were in serious condition. Seventeen children and a teacher have been rescued so far. The spokesperson also stated that the children on the boat were between 12 and 20 years old.

Seven ambulances, 4 boats, 2 rescue vehicles and more than 40 personnel were assigned for the search and rescue efforts.
